Friday evening, March 9th at 11:00pm, the ACBL invites you to the
music of "The Jersey Tenors" on the 5th Floor at the Marriott.
The group will perform all the "Jersey Boy" music and other
great songs. Free food and drinks will be served.
Sunday evening, March 11th at 11:00pm, District 4 invites you for
a stroll on the Atlantic City Boardwalk on the 5th Floor of the Marriott.
The Boardwalk will feature food, games, magicians, photo booths, and
balloons. We will have cotton candy, sno cones, hot dogs, and funnel
cake, with salt water taffy as a take-away “parting gift.”
There will be multiple arcade games like Skee-Ball, Darts, Ring Toss,
and Plinko. A half dozen strolling magicians will walk around and
do up-close magic. A balloon vendor will give away balloons. There
will also be two photo booths with on-site printable pictures.
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights at 11:00pm on the 4th Floor
of the Marriott, District 4 invites you to "The Counterparts",
an award winning a cappella group from the University of Pennsylvania
that will perform some bridge parodies and old favorites. Jay Whipple,
ACBL President, will make a special guest appearance at the Wednesday
Rubber Bridge Room is located in Room 403 on the 4th floor of the
Marriott Hotel. Drop in anytime between 10-2 Monday-Friday March 12-16.
Play is Chicago-style with cut-ins after 4 deals, no partners needed.
Bidding will be Standard American Yellow Card (rules posted in room)
unless a variation can be quickly decided on at the table. Rubber
Bridge rules posted on ACBL website. Cost is free for ACBL members,
and $8 will cover non-members for the entire week. The pros will be
there every day from 10-12 (they do have National events to play in,
